It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The top summits have already been conquered.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to maintain a record if never given the chance.

In the end, the result of Australia giving up 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a chance to create her newest gem.

Initially recognized as the 19-year-old niece of celebrated previous Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after her nation failed to win either of the T20 or ODI World Cups from the prior year and has experienced everything through 15 championship-filled years since.

A T20 championship victory arrived three months after her first appearance and seven international trophies have resulted from 10 attempts across formats.

The determined wicketkeeper was present as well in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final setback by India temporarily stopped the winning streak.

That loss "motivated us to reevaluate our levels," Healy commented earlier.

At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the championship match and was declared player of the series. She ensured her country would not come up short.

If this recent magnificent innings surpassed that earlier display can be debated.

Certain people claim the argument supporting the pressure of a final. Others can counter with the test that comes when confronting a historic chase and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was far harder to anticipate.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 happened while she led the batting statistics, but this knock was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've observed me in practice sessions, it has been a challenging time because it appeared my form was missing completely," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was out her side required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the last rival teams at this tournament need to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at a significant event.
